Job Duties
- Expected hours: Monday – Friday 7:30 am 5pm between 40-50 hours/week Saturday when needed
- The job is physically demanding and the technician is expected to perform the following:
- Record all work
- Clean and maintain equipment
- Drive to customer’s homes
- Become well versed in the products and how they work
- Provide excellent customer service
- Handle and measure liquid organic fertilizers and pesticides
- Handle 50 lb. bags of lime and fertilizers
- Operate the following equipment:
- A full size pickup truck
- 200 gallon spray rig mounted in a pickup truck
- 5 gallon backpack spot sprayer
- ride on and walk behind rotary spreaders
- Mechanical aerator
- Slice-Seeder
- Technician must be self-motivated, have the ability to work independently, and have attention to detail.
- Technician is also expected to plow snow during the winter months
- This job description will change upon review of the employee’s performance.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $18.00 to $24.00 /hour
